About the Bar

The White Horse on Parson’s Green is more than a pub. It’s an institution. A coaching inn has existed on its site in the heart of Fulham, one of London’s wealthiest areas, for centuries.

Story

As early as 1688, some say, but first mentioned for certain in The Spectator in August 1712 during the popular annual Parson’s Green Fair where ‘ale tapping’ was an eagerly awaited event.

Widely considered one of the best beer pubs in the UK, the ‘Sloany Pony’ as
it’s colloquially known prides itself on its ever-evolving, regularly rotated speciality beer range, which includes eight cask ales, six speciality draught beer lines and over 100 bottled beers from around the world.

In June 2013, it was also the first pub in the UK to serve Pilsner Urquell Tankovna beer, part of its on-going commitment to offering its customers the best quality beer possible. Three years on, the locals still can’t seem to get enough and the beer deliveries from Plzeň are getting more and more regular.

So seek out this charming pub, sink into one its leather Chesterfield sofas and raise your pint to one of the best kept beers in London.
